Before the introduction of the disposable quartz watch, American manufacturing revolutionized the way mechanical watches were made. The Weiss Watch Company is proud to offer a mechanical timepiece built in the U.S.A.
The fully mechanical movement is a manually wound Caliber 6497 that is comprised of over 60 Swiss parts. These parts are then hand-finished and assembled in Los Angeles, California and encased in a 42mm water resistant, 316 stainless steel case with sapphire front and back crystals. The hands are painted with luminescent paint for legibility in the dark and the dials were designed with maximum legibility in mind. The Standard Issue Field Watch comes on a custom olive water resistant canvas strap that is stitched together in America. The Standard Issue Field Watch is built to last and is a limited edition of 500 pieces.
