Thanks to the amphibious caravan "Sealander" launched at CARAVAN SALON 2011 the camping tour no longer ends at the shore but can easily be continued on the water. Because the innovative "swimming" caravan, which will be presented in an outdoor pool, can be used not only as a caravan trailer on shore but also be moved off-shore thanks to an outboard motor.
Since it uses a low-emission 5 HP electric motor the Sealander is permitted to navigate on many inland waterways. The motor is powered by an accumulator, which also doubles for power supply in the vehicle interior and is conveniently charged by the tractor vehicle via recharge cable while driving. Clearly an asset: Sealander pilots need no additional driver's license - neither for driving the passenger vehicle nor for boating. In both cases a B class driving permit is sufficient. The innovative vehicle convinces us not only with its meticulous finish and use of high-quality materials but also with its dynamic, independent design.
