From improved traction on dirt to flotation when riding through snow, the wide-grip tires let a bike roll where it has not rolled before. And thats why neither snow nor sand stops the Element WideGrip Edition electric fat bike. Its four-inch tires are twice as wide as those on a regular mountain bike and give you the traction you need to ride soft off-trail terrain and explore new places.
Pedaling a fat bike can be be heavy-going, but this Element helps you zip along in two ways. First, you’ll pedal less weight due to the all-terrain bike’s super-light aluminum-alloy 6061 custom-built frame. Second, you’ll have a 350-watt (750-watt peak) brushless motor in the rear hub to help you turn the wheels. When you’re climbing a snowy hill, riding along a beach, or commuting to work, simply push a button to choose one of three levels of motor power (low, medium, and high) to get where you want or need to be.
The 36-volt lithium-ion battery can run non-stop for a 20-mile (32-kilometer) ride and help you reach a speed of 20 mph (32 km/h). Charge it for 6-8 hours while you sleep overnight and have all the power you need for tomorrow’s journey. If you want to carry less weight, remove the 8.5-lb (3.9-kg) battery and leave it at home.
The Element all-terrain bike also features a seven-speed Shimano gear system to help you negotiate hills and a rack to carry gear on your rides. You now have everything you need to break new trails and discover new places.
