The Steelmont RS-511 series wristwatch is an authentic motoring watch designed for car and motorcycle enthusiasts. Steelmont says it's a 'timepiece for people whose wheels take them places even when they're standing still'.

The Steelmont brand and design was conceived by a graduate from the Parsons School of Design who has 13 years of experience working for leading design companies such as Fossil, Movado, and Geneva Watch Group. He has designed well over 2000 watches during his career for well-known fashion brands including Emporio Armani, Burberry, Ted Baker, Michelle Watches, Kenneth Cole, Tommy Hilfiger, Breil and BCBG Maxzaria, and others.
It reportedly took over two years of work to create the Steelmont RS-511.
The Steelmont RS-511 has a piston-inspired, stainless steel case with Gun Ionic-Plating accents. The case is artfully crafted in a 3-piece, hidden integrated strap construction with an overhanging bezel to accentuate and streamline the case’s profile. The gear inspired crown, polished with Gun IP complements the watch dial. The dial is a modern take on classic car instruments featuring a satin finish and subtle vertical racing stripes. The raised indexes and numbers are individually hand placed on the dial. The six sided, aluminum hands are hydraulic pressed and accented with Super Luminova fill. The perforated strap evokes images of finely tailored sports cars, crafted with genuine leather and heavy-gauged off-white stitching.
